Innovation & Experimentation Lead, Fin Crime Technology, Director

As an Innovation Technology Lead, Director based in India, you will play a crucial role in driving experimentation in next-generation analysis, financial crime detection, and technology engineering. Your expertise will be utilized to advise and guide on strategic roadmaps and designs, offering valuable insights that align with our simplification strategy. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership, advice, and support to ensure that projects align with the business's goals. You will promote an innovative approach, building relationships across the bank and leveraging industry insights to make commercially focused decisions that create long-term value. In this role, you will drive best practices through engineering processes and Agile behavior, setting an example for the team to follow. Your influence will be instrumental in developing business strategies at an organizational level, identifying transformational opportunities in Financial Crime associated with new and existing technologies. Key responsibilities will also include identifying innovative solutions for business problems, championing the use of AI/ML/analytical methods, and educating global teams on technical and business aspects. You will also be responsible for horizon scanning, bringing valuable insights and new ideas into discussions, and fostering adaptive design and engineering practices. To excel in this position, you must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, data science, financial crime, or fraud innovation and analysis, along with 7 years of leadership experience in data, technology, or financial crime. Expert knowledge of emerging analytical and technical trends in financial crime detection & investigation is essential, as well as at least one technical or financial crime qualification. Moreover, you should possess the ability to develop and communicate creative solutions, understand industry analysis and detection techniques, and have a deep understanding of financial crime risk and compliance. Experience in working with business solution vendors, technology products, and a creative mindset for developing innovative solutions will be key for success in this role.,
