As an Infrastructure Engineering - Professional I at Fiserv, you will be responsible for managing high-severity incidents across complex fintech systems and ensuring continuous improvement of the IT service landscape. Your expertise in infrastructure awareness, monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and exceptional communication skills will be crucial for this role. Your main responsibilities will include leading and managing critical IT incidents from detection to resolution, coordinating across various teams, ensuring incidents are resolved within defined timelines, conducting post-incident reviews and root cause analysis, tracking permanent fixes and enhancements, and maintaining documentation for known errors and operational workflows. You will also be required to adhere to ITIL-aligned Incident and Problem Management processes, work hands-on with ServiceNow, and continuously improve incident workflows and reporting structures. To be successful in this role, you should have 10-12 years of experience in IT Incident Management or Production Support roles, a strong awareness of infrastructure concepts, expertise with monitoring and troubleshooting tools, hands-on experience with ServiceNow, familiarity with incident handling frameworks and escalation models, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, being able to work in a 24x7 support model/on-call rotation will be necessary. Having an ITIL Foundation certification would be considered a plus for this position.
