Infrastructure Engineer III - Linux Ops/SRE

As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms, you play a pivotal role in enhancing large-scale system operations and monitoring operating systems. Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience. - Hands-on experience in managing large-scale Linux infrastructure, preferably within a financial institution. - Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, capacity management, business continuity planning, and troubleshooting. - Deep knowledge in infrastructure engineering areas such as operating systems (Linux), hardware, networking, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments. - Proficiency in one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, Ansible). - Ability to articulate technical strategies in clear terms to experienced management. - Experience with capacity management, resiliency, business continuity planning, financial institutions, Linux System Administration, DevOps, and site reliability engineering. - Good knowledge in Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
