Job Description

You are looking for an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with a solid background in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration. The ideal candidate for this role should have 6 to 9 years of experience and a profound understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid position requires an individual who can effectively manage day shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of AS400 systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will be responsible for expert administration of iSeries/AS400 systems, including configuration maintenance and troubleshooting. It will be essential to monitor system performance, implement necessary updates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Property & Casualty Insurance applications. Additionally, you will need to conduct regular system backups, implement security measures to protect data, and develop documentation for system configurations procedures and policies. You will also be involved in planning and executing system upgrades, providing technical support and training to end-users, and analyzing system logs to identify potential issues. To qualify for this role, you must have 6 to 9 years of experience in AS400 Operations and iSeries/AS400 Administration. Strong domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance is a must, along with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Experience in hybrid work environments and managing day shifts would be beneficial, and being detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial.
