Information Technology Associate

As an Asset Procurement & Vendor Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of IT assets such as laptops and desktops. Your main tasks will involve negotiating with vendors to secure the best pricing and service agreements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the allocation of IT assets to employees, ensuring proper tracking and smooth onboarding/offboarding processes - Managing the recovery of assets from departing employees - Ensuring timely repair and maintenance of laptops and other IT equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance - Maintaining records of asset warranties and ensuring timely renewals or replacements - Implementing and maintaining an effective asset tagging and tracking system to ensure accurate inventory records and compliance with organizational policies - Maintaining detailed records of IT assets, including purchase details, assignments, and lifecycle tracking - Generating reports for audits and compliance purposes The Successful Applicant for this role should have: - Proficiency in English (written and oral) - Ability to complete tasks on time and collaborate with other departments - Outstanding communication abilities and skills in engaging with stakeholders - Strong problem-solving skills - Proficiency in data management - Expertise in Google Sheets and Excel - High integrity and ownership mindset,
