Job Description

As an Information Security Analyst at NTT DATA, your role is crucial in protecting the organization's computer networks from cyber-attacks and maintaining security standards. Your responsibilities include: - Monitoring security alerts and events, investigating potential threats, and escalating incidents as necessary. - Assisting in implementing and monitoring security controls like firewalls and intrusion detection systems. - Conducting regular vulnerability assessments, analyzing scan results, and prioritizing and remediating identified vulnerabilities. - Supporting the incident response team in investigating security incidents, documenting findings, and participating in remediation efforts. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001 through assessments and necessary controls. - Installing security measures, operating software to protect systems, and documenting security breaches. To excel in this role, you should possess: - Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to prevent network hacking. - Ability to identify and evaluate risks, develop solutions, and explain network vulnerabilities. - Proficiency in firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts. - Familiarity with security frameworks, regulations, and network/system architecture. - Strong analytical skills to analyze security incidents and work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications and certifications required: - Bachelor's degree in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or related field. - Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM are advantageous. Experience needed: - Demonstrated experience in information security/cybersecurity roles. - Experience working in a global IT organization. - Experience with computer network penetration testing and security assessment tools.
