Job Summary:

Informatica Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy

  ETL workflows and mappings

  using Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Cloud).
• Perform

  data extraction, transformation, and loading

  from multiple data sources (RDBMS, flat files, APIs, etc.).
• Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance and scalability.
  
• Ensure

  data quality, integrity, and consistency

  across systems.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business users to gather requirements.
  
• Create and maintain

  technical documentation

  including design specs, data flow diagrams, and process flows.
• Support data migration, integration, and warehouse initiatives.
  
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in ETL jobs and workflows.
  
• Implement

  best practices for ETL development

  , version control, and deployment.
• Work with databases like

  Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Teradata, or DB2

  .
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
  

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with

  Informatica PowerCenter

  (or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services - IICS).
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
  
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and data modeling concepts.
  
• Knowledge of

  data warehousing concepts (ETL, OLAP, star/snowflake schemas)

  .
• Experience with job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).
  
• Ability to analyze complex data and troubleshoot data issues effectively.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with

  Informatica Cloud (IICS)

  or

  Informatica MDM

  .
• Familiarity with

  cloud data platforms

  like

  AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery

  .
• Knowledge of

  Python

  or

  Shell scripting

  for automation.
• Exposure to

  data lakes

  API-based data ingestion

  .
• Understanding of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies
