Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Informatica Administrator

with strong expertise in

PowerCenter Integration (PCI)

and

Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)

. The candidate will manage, maintain, and optimize Informatica environments, supporting enterprise data integration initiatives and cloud modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Backup & Recovery:
Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies for Informatica repositories and configurations to ensure data integrity and availability.
Collaboration:
Partner with ETL developers, data architects, and business analysts to support integration efforts and evolving business requirements.
Documentation & Standards:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices aligned with organizational standards.
Security Management:
Administer user roles and permissions, configure security settings, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Upgrades & Patching:
Plan and execute software upgrades, apply patches, and manage workflow/mapping migration across development, QA, and production environments.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide expert-level support for Informatica platform and ETL process issues.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor workflows and jobs, perform performance tuning, and implement optimization strategies.
Installation & Configuration:
Install, configure, and deploy Informatica PowerCenter components including Repository and Integration Services.
IDMC Security Configuration:
Implement and manage security protocols for user authentication and object-level permissions within IDMC.
Monitoring & Issue Resolution:
Monitor PowerCenter workloads on cloud-managed platforms, addressing performance issues and user access.
IDMC Platform Administration:
Manage organizational setup, user accounts, and licenses within IDMC.
Modernization Initiatives:
Utilize self-service modernization tools to migrate PowerCenter workloads to the cloud with minimal manual effort.
Environment Setup:
Configure on-premises domains and deploy Secure Agents for seamless cloud integration.
CDI-PC Administration:
Manage CDI-PC service to enable hybrid cloud execution of PowerCenter workloads with centralized control via IDMC.
