Industrial Automation lead Engineer

Role Overview: You will be a full-time on-site Industrial Automation Lead Engineer responsible for developing and commissioning automation solutions. Your day-to-day tasks will include development, testing, validation, technical documentation, site commissioning, technical support, and mentoring junior team members. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and commission automation projects. - Prepare, review, and maintain technical documents such as test reports and manuals. - Conduct testing and validation of automation systems. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery. - Provide technical support to the sales team and clients during pre-sales, execution, and after-sales stages. - Train and support junior engineers to uphold project execution, quality standards, and best practices. - Ensure compliance with safety practices and quality management requirements. - Travel to project sites for survey and execution. Qualifications Required: - Educational Qualification: B. Tech in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or mechatronics engineering. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in executing automation projects. - Strong expertise in IEC 61131-3 programming languages (LD, structured text, FBD) and developing applications using various automation frameworks. - Proficient in industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet IP, Profinet, OPC, CAN, etc. - Thorough understanding and experience with control system architecture, P&ID diagrams, FDS, control drawings, single-line diagrams, and panel drawings. - Experience in testing procedures, FAT/SAT, and commissioning of automation projects. - Prepared project documents like IO lists, test reports, manuals, and other technical documents. - Willingness to travel to customer sites for project execution and commissioning. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.,
