Role Overview

Indirect Procurement Manager

You won't just be buying parts; you will be building a resilient supply chain for complex systems including HVAC, motors, switchgear, sensors, and automated assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Category Strategy:

  Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies for electro-mechanical categories to drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and ensure supply continuity.

• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM):

  Identify, vet, and manage a portfolio of global and local vendors. Conduct regular performance reviews using KPIs such as Quality, On-Time Delivery, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

• Contract Negotiation:

  Lead complex negotiations for Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring favorable terms regarding pricing, warranties, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

• Technical Collaboration:

  Work closely with Engineering and Facilities teams to understand technical specifications and identify "Value Engineering" opportunities (e.g., substituting components for better performance or lower cost).

• Market Intelligence:

  Stay ahead of global market trends, including raw material fluctuations (copper, steel, semiconductors) and geopolitical factors affecting the electro-mechanical supply base.

• Process Improvement:

  Streamline the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process for indirect spend to reduce "Maverick" spending and improve internal compliance.

  A foundational understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, or industrial automation.

  Experience sourcing energy-efficient equipment or managing "Green" procurement initiatives.
