Indian Commis II

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Indian Commis II to join our kitchen team. The role involves assisting senior chefs in preparing authentic Indian dishes, ensuring food quality, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the smooth operation of the Indian kitchen section. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of Indian curries, gravies, dals, rice, and accompaniments. Prepare mise-en-place (chopping, marination, grinding masalas, etc.) for the section. Support the CDP/Commis I during service hours to ensure timely and quality food delivery. Follow standard recipes and portion control to maintain consistency. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, utensils, and storage areas. Handle ingredients with care and maintain FIFO (First In First Out) for stock usage. Learn and adapt to new recipes, cooking styles, and kitchen techniques as guided by seniors.
