Incharge - Gravure

As a part of the team at Knack, you will be responsible for various roles and responsibilities in the gravure department located in Ahmedabad. Here is a brief overview of what your role will entail: **Role Overview:** - Responsible for taking and checking the planning provided by the PPC department and taking corrective actions accordingly. - Allocating manpower as per machine requirements and coordinating with HR for additional manpower if needed. - Managing manpower planning and shift-wise rotation while ensuring optimal manpower utilization. - Checking and verifying the attendance of all gravure department employees. - Checking production data and QC parameters to ensure proper data filling. - Monitoring machine-wise planning and reporting stock levels of raw materials. - Conducting daily meetings with the gravure supervisor for production planning and waste management. - Conducting interviews for new workers and coordinating with HR for selection. - Verifying production entries in SAP done by the supervisor. - Communicating maintenance-related issues and planning preventive maintenance of machinery. - Troubleshooting technical problems during machine operations. - Ensuring shade matching online and offline and resolving related issues. - Coordinating with the graphics department and GM Production for shade and text matter-related problems. - Approving printing job shades and creating requirements in SAP. - Solving problems in various machines including printing, lamination, de-metalize, rewinding, and slitting machines. - Maintaining records of worker leaves and coordinating with other departments for scrap removal. - Addressing rubber roll-related issues with maintenance and other departments. - Conducting process explanations to visitors and customers. - Following up on cylinder repairing details with supervisors. - Ensuring housekeeping in the BOPP store, printing area, and machine surrounding areas. - Providing follow-ups to the night shift supervisor for production and maintenance issues. - Ensuring compliance with Product Safety team requirements and HARA system. - Reviewing the HARA system periodically. - Maintaining sanitation and hygiene conditions in the plant and personnel areas. - Addressing quality and product safety problems among production staff. - Verifying records for adherence to HARA and reporting to the team leader. - Implementing hygienic controls, checking for cleanliness, and ensuring proper functioning of processing equipment. **Qualifications Required:** - Any Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience If you are ready to take on these responsibilities and contribute to the success of the gravure department at Knack, please send your resume to jobs@knackpackaging.com.,
