Job Description

In-Patient Service Manager

Oversee and direct the activities related to pre-admission, registration and financial counseling in order to establish and protect the hospital's reimbursement position.
Monitor staffing, resolve issues and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Supervise activities of staff to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality information.
Taking care of All types of IP - Admissions
Develop and maintain an effective relationship between Patient Business Services and physicians and internal customers.
Develop, recommend, and implement changes in department policies and procedures as appropriate to enhance the delivery of services.
Coordinate the collection and analysis of data related to patient flow; identify and implement adjustments to established processes to enhance the delivery of services.
Work closely and professionally with nursing and ancillary departments in an effort to maintain a teamwork approach
Review daily pre-service log to ensure accounts have been activated
Excel in all functions performed by patient representatives
Update collection system and requests rebill when appropriate
Collect/request deposits and co - pays
Schedule and assist with evaluation processes; helps resolve patient and employee concerns
Work in partnership with Medical Director to ensure standards are met regarding documentation, patient confidentiality, quality of care and infection control.
Work collaboratively with Medical Director and Quality to maintain, evaluate and modify patient flow systems.
To coordinate with HID department and the concerned consultant and arrange for video counseling.

Supervise and maintain effectiveness of patient flow.
