Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Patient Care Coordination : Ensure smooth admission, stay, and discharge process for all in-patients. Coordinate between medical staff, nursing teams, and support departments. Floor Supervision : Oversee daily operations of the assigned hospital floor(s), including ward hygiene, staff presence, and patient needs. Staff Management : Supervise nurses, ward boys, housekeeping, and administrative staff; maintain duty rosters and ensure adherence to protocols. Service Quality : Monitor patient satisfaction, resolve grievances, and ensure compassionate and timely care. Inventory & Supplies : Ensure availability of medicines, consumables, and equipment in all wards; coordinate with procurement and pharmacy. Compliance & Safety : Ensure adherence to NABH/JCI standards, infection control protocols, and safety guidelines. Documentation : Monitor and maintain patient records, handover reports, and MIS reports for floor operations. Key Skills & Competencies : Strong leadership and team management Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills Knowledge of hospital operations and clinical processes Familiarity with HIS (Hospital Information System) and EMR Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Qualifications : Bachelor's or Master's in Hospital Administration / Nursing (B.Sc Nursing preferred) 58 years of experience in hospital floor operations or nursing administration Prior experience in NABH/JCI accredited hospital is a plus
