Job Description

Job Summary:

The Importer Calling Executive is responsible for generating and qualifying leads by contacting importers, understanding their procurement needs, and promoting the company’s products. This role involves proactive outreach, market research, and coordination with the sales and export teams to convert leads into business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to potential importers via calls, emails, and trade directories.
  • Introduce company products and explain features, specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain an updated lead database and CRM with call logs and follow-up notes.
  • Coordinate with sales, export, and logistics teams to facilitate quotations, product samples, and order processing.
  • Follow up with importers to nurture leads and ensure timely responses.
  • Collect market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and trends.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss strategies, targets, and lead conversion plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12th / Graduate (preferably in Commerce / Business / Marketing).
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of international trade, imports, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel, and email communication.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and identify potential buyers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional phone etiquette.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in telecalling, B2B sales, or import/export business is preferred.

  • Target-driven and result-oriented.
  • Persistent and patient in follow-ups.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in generating leads.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

KPIs / Performance Metrics:

  • Number of importers contacted per week.
  • Number of qualified leads generated.
  • Conversion of leads into inquiries/orders.
  • Timely update of CRM and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹27,327.05 per month
