Job Description

As an Implementation Executive (TDS Specialist) at Newgen DigitalWorks Pvt Ltd, you will be a crucial member in assisting clients with end-to-end Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) implementation, compliance, and reporting. Your role will involve ensuring accurate filings, maintaining compliance with legal metrology and FSSAI standards, and providing seamless post-implementation support to enhance client satisfaction. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities: - Spearhead the complete implementation of TDS products and accounting systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as TDS rules, legal metrology, and FSSAI standards. - Manage the entire TDS filing process, including return preparation, validation, e-filing, challan generation, reconciliation, and compliance reporting. - Conduct thorough reconciliations of Form 36A and Form 26AS, ensuring accurate credit mapping and prompt resolution of discrepancies. - Collaborate closely with finance teams and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and translate them into system specifications. - Oversee data migration and integration from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring a seamless transition. - Develop and execute rigorous test plans to guarantee system accuracy and functionality. - Provide comprehensive training to clients on TDS filing modules and reconciliation processes to enhance user proficiency. - Maintain accurate records, reconciliations, and reporting of TDS deductions and filings. - Deliver post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing processes for improved performance. - Stay updated on evolving tax regulations, compliance mandates, and technology advancements. Qualifications & Skills required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - 3-7 years of experience in TDS implementation, compliance, or tax-technology roles. - Strong expertise in end-to-end TDS filing processes, including Form 36A and Form 26AS reconciliation. - Proven experience implementing ERP/Finance software solutions, with a focus on TDS modules. - Solid understanding of Indian taxation laws, accounting principles, statutory compliance, Legal Metrology, and FSSAI regulations. - Proficiency in SQL or similar database query languages, and familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel. - Strong project management skills with experience in Agile or Waterfall methodologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
