Job Title: Mainframe Developer / Support Engineer

Mainframe Developer/Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and implement mainframe-based solutions using
COBOL, JCL, SQL
, and
DB2
.
Perform
production support
and incident/problem resolution for critical business applications.
Schedule, monitor, and manage jobs using
CA7
.
Manage code versioning and deployment through
Endevor
or equivalent tools.
Perform
pair programming
for collaborative development and knowledge sharing.
Analyze and optimize
stored procedures
and
batch processes
for performance improvement.
Work with
IMS DB/DC
systems for transaction and data management (added advantage).
Participate in root cause analysis, performance tuning, and preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cloud integration and modernization initiatives.
Leverage
BigQuery
and
GCP
for analytics and data processing (6 months+ experience preferred).

Cloud Exposure:
