Identify prospective clients, engage with them periodically to understand their requirements, make sales pitches, engage with internal teams to create solutions/ proposals and submit in a timely manner to the customers Interact with DRDO, MOD, BEL, BDL, ECIL, HAL,ISRO etc and other private corporates in the defence domain and create more awareness on the our products and explore opportunities to participate in projects and generate revenue Preparing offers/ tenders/RFI / RFP/ EOI and delivering technical presentations to showcase the products that meet specific customer requirements Identify proactively on the futuristic technologies in the defence and aerospace domain and work with R&D team on product development. Focus on Cash Flow optimisation from the projects by creating strategy for milestone based collections and regular follow ups on the receivables Conduct periodic studies/ reviews on market research/ surveys, generate reports and submit synopsis/ recommendations to enable decision making Manage & develop key stakeholder relations with existing & new customers Organize / participate in National events, exhibitions & conferences, to generate business Work with internal stakeholders of the company to ensure the project milestones are met to ensure desired profitability levels are maintained Maintain and track the issues highlighted by customers, suggest/ take necessary mitigating actions along with projects team worked for Mid to Large organisations on BD Roles Officers from Army / Navy / Air Force with some prior experience, post leaving Defence services would also be preferred Scientists Worked for Defence Labs(DRDO), Defence Production Agencies (HAL, BEL, BDL, ECIL etc) would be given preference
