Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

SCADA & MES Development
: Design and implement Ignition-based SCADA and MES applications to improve manufacturing processes and operational visibility.
HMI Design
: Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Ignition's Perspective and Vision modules, incorporating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for dynamic visualizations.
Scripting & Automation
: Utilize Python scripting within Ignition to automate workflows, handle events, and integrate with various systems and protocols like MQTT and OPC UA.
Database Management
: Configure and optimize SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MS SQL) for data storage, retrieval, and reporting purposes.
System Integration
: Integrate Ignition with PLCs, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications using REST APIs and industrial communication protocols.
Deployment & Maintenance
: Install, configure, and maintain Ignition gateways and edge devices, ensuring system scalability and reliability.
