Ignition Consultant-senior

As an Ignition Application Administrator at EY, you will have the opportunity to join the Enterprise Services Data team and play an active role in administering the existing analytics platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing and configuring Ignition. - Monitoring the Ignition platform, integrating with observability and alerting solutions, and recommending platform improvements. - Troubleshooting and resolving Ignition platform issues. - Configuring data source connections and managing asset libraries. - Identifying and raising system capacity-related issues (storage, licenses, performance threshold). - Defining best practices for Ignition deployment. - Integrating Ignition with other ES Data platforms and Business Unit installations of Ignition. - Participating in overall data platform architecture and strategy. - Researching and recommending alternative actions for problem resolution based on best practices and application functionality with minimal direction. You should possess the following knowledge and skills: - 3+ years working in customer success or in a customer-facing engineering capacity. - Large scale implementation experience with a complex solutions environment. - Experience in customer-facing positions, preferably industry experience in technology-based solutions. - Experience with Linux command line. - Ability to analyze technical concepts and translate them into business terms, as well as map business requirements into technical features. - Knowledge of the software development process and software design methodologies. - 3+ years of experience in a cloud ops/Kubernetes application deployment and management role. - Experience with Attribute-based Access Control (ABAC), Virtual Director Services (VDS), PING Federate, or Azure Active Directory (AAD). - Cloud platform architecture, administration, and programming experience. - Experience with Helm, Argo CD, Docker, and cloud networking. - Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written, and verbal. Education and Work Experience: - A BA/BS Degree (or equivalent) in technology, computing, or related field of study. - Experience in lieu of education may be considered if the individual has ten (3+) or more years of relevant experience. Please note that the normal work schedule hours may vary, Monday through Friday, and you may be required to work flexible hours and/or weekends as needed to meet deadlines or fulfil application administration obligations.
