How you can make a difference

The client responsibilities involve:

• Identify, document, and recommend client business requirements for implementing Excise tax compliance processes and system improvements.


• Review and reconcile tax value notices and tax bills and interact with taxing jurisdictions to resolve discrepancies


• Expertise on Excise Tax concepts and we'll versed with research tools like Data handing, filings, Notices, Accounting etc


• Provide input for process improvements/automation


• Independently apply knowledge in the generation of a tax computation/return.


• Technically versatile and able to work with data from various sources of complexity and formats


• Effectively drive the business and build connects with the Practice Leaders.


• Monitor changes in Excise Tax legislation and rates incorporate changes timely into monthly procedures and update the team.


• Ability to communicate effectively and work competently with teams in other geographic locations


• Oversee returns reviewe'd by the Managers by following the Standard operating procedures.


• Perform second level reviews and signs off returns reviewe'd by Managers.


• Interpersonal skills - Enjoys working with people and developing people, with key focus on managing effective teams


• Prepare documentation and training presentations for US stakeholders as applicable.

Experience

• 10-12 years of experience

Qualification

• bachelors Degree or Master Degree

Education

• bachelors Degree or Master Degree

Certification

• CPA is preferred
