Job Title: ICU RMO (Resident Medical Officer)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible ICU RMO to manage critically ill patients under the supervision of senior consultants. The role requires active involvement in patient care, emergency management, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage critically ill patients in ICU and HDU
• Assist in emergency management, including resuscitation and stabilization
• Perform initial patient assessment, daily rounds, and clinical documentation
• Perform and assist in emergency procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, etc.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen therapy, and patient response to treatment
• Interpret laboratory reports, ABGs, ECGs, X-rays, and other investigations
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other hospital departments
• Ensure proper handover during shift changes
• Adhere to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of emergency and ICU procedures
• Ability to work independently during night and emergency shifts
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree required

(BHMS / BUMS / BAMS / Other equivalent medical degrees)

Experience

• 1–2 years of ICU or Emergency Department experience preferred

Salary

₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month

Shift Details

• Rotational shifts
• Morning / Evening / Night duties as per ICU roster
