ICU Incharge

The ICU Incharge will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, coordinating with doctors, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and medical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage ICU staff including nurses, technicians, and support staff.
• Monitor critically ill patients and ensure timely medical interventions.
• Allocate and assign duties to ICU staff, ensuring proper shift rotations.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and ICU safety standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, anesthetists, and other specialists for patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and ICU documentation.
• Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
• Handle emergency situations effectively and ensure the availability of required equipment and medicines.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of ICU equipment.
• Maintain communication with patient families and provide updates regarding patient condition under hospital guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Sc / M.Sc Nursing with valid Nursing Registration.
• Minimum 5–7 years of nursing experience with at least 2–3 years in ICU.
• Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of ICU protocols, emergency handling, and patient care standards.
• Ability to work in high-pressure and critical situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
