ICU & Critical Care Specialist

Role Overview

As an ICU & Critical Care Specialist, you will oversee critically ill patients, manage life-support systems, and lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering evidence-based critical care. The role requires strong clinical expertise, decision-making under pressure, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care to patients admitted to the ICU and critical care units.
• Monitor, diagnose, and manage patients with life-threatening conditions and multi-organ failures.
• Perform and supervise procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, ventilator management, and advanced resuscitation.
• Lead and collaborate with ICU staff, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and junior doctors.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and ethical practices.
• Participate in emergency response teams (Code Blue, Rapid Response).
• Maintain accurate medical records, patient charts, and handover documentation.
• Contribute to the hospital’s academic and training programs for junior doctors and nursing staff.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in critical care medicine and implement best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MD/DNB in Critical Care Medicine / Anesthesiology / Internal Medicine / Pulmonology with specialization in Critical Care.
• Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / State Medical Council.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ICU/Critical Care preferred.
• Proficiency in advanced ICU procedures and ventilator management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
