Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and apply icing, frosting, fondant, and decorative elements on cakes and baked products according to design specifications. Create custom designs based on customer requests, seasonal themes, and bakery standards. Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and appearance of all decorated items. Manage icing and decoration supplies inventory; ensure materials are fresh and properly stored. Collaborate with bakers and other team members to ensure timely completion of orders. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area in compliance with food safety standards. Suggest new designs, styles, and decoration trends to attract customers. Requirements: Proven experience as an Icing Master, Cake Decorator, or similar role in a bakery or cake shop. Skilled in piping, airbrushing, fondant work, edible printing, and other decoration techniques. Strong artistic and creative abilities. Attention to detail and ability to replicate designs accurately. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, especially during peak seasons or large orders. Preferred Qualifications: Diploma or certification in Baking, Pastry Arts, or related field (optional). Knowledge of the latest trends in cake decorating. Experience in handling customer-specific customization requests.
