IBM MDM PIM Consultant

As a Senior Technical Consultant in the MDM PIM practice, your role will involve working on MDM projects for Fortune 500 clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with Business Analysts and architects to implement best-of-class MDM solutions - Actively participating in business requirements gathering sessions and understanding client requirements - Creating, presenting, and obtaining sign-offs for design documents and unit test scenarios - Assisting the Project Manager in planning and driving low-level project tasks - Mentoring a team of technical consultants and overseeing their work items - Creating release documents and assisting in building and deploying code across servers - Developing high-quality code, performing unit tests, and reviewing source code developed by team members - Debugging critical technical issues and providing prompt resolutions - Highlighting technical issues and challenges, and proposing creative solutions - Assisting in recruiting high-quality resources for the Initiate MDM practice - Training junior technical resources in MDM for PIM Qualifications required for this role: - 7+ years of experience in software services; Big 4 experience is a strong plus - 4+ years of experience implementing MDM solutions for PIM - 3+ years in a J2EE environment including experience with application servers (WebSphere, Weblogic) - 3+ years experience with Java and databases such as DB2 and Oracle - Strong understanding of data modeling and strong SQL skills are a must - Experience in developing and deploying in a Services Oriented Architecture Kindly note that no additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
