Key Responsibilities:
?Deep understanding of DB2 architecture.
?Proficiency in creating objects (tables, indexes) as per application requirements.
?Expertise in backup strategies (online/offline) and database restoration.
?Skilled in tablespace management and data movement utilities.
?Hands-on experience with DB health checks using tools like PD, TOP.
?Knowledge of HADR setup and performance tuning.
?Adept at query tuning, replication setups (SQL and Q), and redirect restore.
?Familiar with DB version upgrades, rollback plans, and database maintenance.
?Expertise in security management, storage optimization, and proactive monitoring.
?Troubleshooting skills for logs, rollback segments, and database descriptors.
