The IBDP/MYP Individual societies & Global Perspectives role is a vital position within our educational institution for the academic year 2025-26. You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum and educational experiences for students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). Your contribution will significantly impact the academic and holistic development of students, preparing them for higher education and global citizenship. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering engaging IBDP/MYP Individual societies & Global Perspectives curriculum, designing assessment strategies, collaborating with faculty to integrate interdisciplinary approaches, providing mentorship and academic support to students, leading professional development activities, integrating technology into teaching and learning, organizing field trips and community projects, participating in curriculum planning and review meetings, supporting students in assessments and examinations, facilitating discussions on global issues, engaging with parents for student progress updates, contributing to extracurricular activities, ensuring a safe classroom environment, staying updated on educational trends and research, and collaborating with faculty for a cohesive educational experience. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field, IBDP/MYP certification and training, proven teaching experience in IBDP/MYP Individual societies & Global Perspectives, understanding of experiential and inquiry-based learning, ability to maintain a positive learning environment, strong communication skills, experience in curriculum development and assessment design, knowledge of international educational standards, commitment to professional development, collaborative work approach, technology integration skills, cultural awareness, organizational proficiency, multitasking abilities, and familiarity with educational software and learning management systems. Your skills in teaching, understanding global issues, knowledge of social sciences, perspectives on diverse cultures, and commitment to continuous learning will be essential in excelling in this role.,
