IB PYP English Teacher

As an IB PYP English Teacher at the CISCE School, your role involves teaching English to primary years students, focusing on the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP). You will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lessons to enhance language development, literacy skills, and critical thinking among students. Collaboration with fellow educators to integrate English language learning across the curriculum and providing support to students in their language acquisition journey will be key aspects of your role. - Teach English to primary years students with a focus on IB PYP - Create engaging and interactive lessons to enhance language development, literacy skills, and critical thinking - Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate English language learning across the curriculum - Provide support to students in their language acquisition journey Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field - Teaching certification relevant to elementary education (B.Ed. or equivalent) - Ideally possess IB PYP teaching experience or certification - Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in an IB PYP setting, preferably in elementary grades (Grades 4 & 5) - Experience in integrating UOI concepts in the English curriculum - Strong understanding of IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching English to young learners, this exciting opportunity at a CISCE School awaits you.,
