IB Business Information Records Officer (BIRO), VP

Role Overview: As an IB Business Information Records Officer (BIRO) at Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India with the Corporate Title of VP, you will be a part of the Group Strategic Analytics team. This team focuses on combining expertise in quantitative analytics, modelling, pricing, and risk management with a deep understanding of system architecture and programming. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development of a scalable and flexible Front Office pricing and risk management system, ensuring consistency in analytics and technology platform across the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the London/New York/Frankfurt team on quantitative and regulatory projects, understanding business problems, gathering necessary information, and providing optimized solutions on a scalable platform. - Implement projects using Python and C++ programming languages, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders globally. - Develop complex processes, frameworks, and risk analysis, enhance existing frameworks, and design automated solutions for business problems. - Coordinate with stakeholders, design databases, and develop applications/libraries for solution implementation. - Remediate regulatory findings, maintain awareness of key market risks, and ensure quality assurance through reviews. Qualification Required: - Strong educational background in Engineering/Science, Economics, Statistics, or other numerate disciplines from reputed institutions like IIT, NIT, ISI. - At least 4 years of experience in Python/C++ programming with knowledge of OOPs concepts and data structures. - Experience in pulling data from market sources, financial pricing models, and risk models. - Good communication skills, problem-solving instincts, and analytical skills. - Certification courses like CFA/FRM/CQ and familiarity with applied econometrics are desirable.
