JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary If you are a DCS professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Project Engineer to work with our energetic Power Greenfield team. In this role, you will work independently and/or as part of a team to design, implement and should have adequate experience in Hardware Engineering, Panel design, Understanding the Network Architecture on Emerson's Ovation platform for various Power Generation & Water treatment for India region. You will conduct project Design Review Meetings, Customer Workshops and Factory/Site Acceptance Tests with customers to demonstrate System functionality. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: End to End project design & engineering Efficient execution of Greenfield Power & Water as well as Lump Sum Turn Key (LSTK) projects. Should have adequate experience in Hardware Engineering, Panel design, Understanding the Network Architecture, Exposure to Buyouts Understanding of buyouts such as (HMI, Servers, Cables, Control desk/furniture, Field Instruments, Relays, Barriers, HMI, UPS, Chargers, LVS etc.). Experience to build Bill of Material with support of manufacturing teams for achieving the desired result. Site walk-downs for data collection, IO list preparation. Experience in preparation of cable schedule, engineering documentation, TQs or equivalent experience, and business/customer correspondence. Understanding of the project cycle, time management and production phases. Awareness to technical risk during project execution and site activities. Experience in Pre-FAT and Conducting customer FAT (HW & SW) and SAT. Exposure to the support Procurement team and creating procurement requisition. Working with contractors / sub-contractors and Vendors. Verification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices and Supervision of control system installation, commissioning and start-up. Close collaboration and communication with team members located at different geographical locations, including vendors & sub-contractors. For This Role, You Will Need: Engineering or Equivalent (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control,or equivalent field) 10-15years project engineering experience in field of DCS / PLCs and exposure to commissioning. Hardware design exposure, Procurement exposure. Control design, implementation, process testing for Power and related process Treatment plants. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Proficiency with ISA and SAMA logic symbols, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills Ability to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from management, clients, and customers. Responsibilities: Work experience in Hydraulic Installation System. Creates concepts and direct the design and development of complex engineering projects. Prepares concept, design, and development and feasibility studies of complex engineering projects. Proficiency in SDP fluid lines/pro piping Must have exp in Hose, Tube design and routing system. Good understanding of hydraulics subject & component selection (like PST) Must able to read hydraulic schematic Must have a good mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts. Skills and Qualifications: 3 to 8 years working experience in Hydraulic Installation System Must Have Working Experience in CAD Tools like Creo Exposure to Automotive / Off Road Heavy Vehicle manufacturing process is an added advantage.

You should possess a high level of capability and experience in various areas including AutoCAD, hydraulic schematics, 3D software like Creo and Solid Works, design capability, and technical writing in English. Additionally, you are expected to have quick learning ability in areas such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), load bank fabrication, and airflow analysis. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of engineers and designers, reviewing and analyzing their work daily, providing technical guidance, enforcing configuration control and documentation, setting design completion targets, conducting FEA and design analysis, communicating with customers for design and product improvement, vendor development for parts, certification with various organizations, and leading the team in workload and schedules. Furthermore, you will be involved in structure design for items like reactors, configuration setup for engineers, making modifications or retrofitting existing products with new technology, and creating Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system.,

As a Project Manager (Execution), you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful execution of industrial automation, power, oil & gas, and substation projects. You will coordinate between various stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end project execution from planning to commissioning. Conduct site walk-downs for commissioning and I/O database preparation. Manage third-party communication integration in PLC systems. Supervise control system installation, testing, and start-up procedures. Execute logic simulation and testing per control write-ups. Conduct Pre-FAT, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and post-FAT clean-up. Perform functional testing of I/O interfaces and ensure seamless system integration. Handle Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and support existing PLC/DCS control system installations. Execute retrofit and upgrade activities for installed control systems.
