Hydraulic Engineer

You will be responsible for performing hydraulic modeling using tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, EPANET, SWMM, or HEC-RAS, with a strong understanding of rising mains and L-sections. Your duties will include preparing design reports, hydraulic calculations, drawings, BOQs, DPRs, and technical specs, while ensuring compliance with BIS, CPHEEO, and other relevant codes and standards. You will need to coordinate with CAD teams for construction drawings and review survey and GIS data for alignment and profiles. Additionally, you will support planning, feasibility studies, and master planning for urban water/sewer networks, liaise with clients and authorities for design approvals and permits, and provide technical support during construction including RFIs, shop drawings, and inspections. Your role will also involve contributing to QA and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline (Masters preferred). You are expected to have a strong understanding of fluid mechanics, pipe hydraulics, and pump selection, as well as proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, EPANET, SWMM, or similar software. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), and project management tools is also required. Knowledge of CPHEEO Manual, AWWA, BIS standards, and other applicable design codes will be beneficial for this role.,
