Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer with 10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, automation, and systems design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable solutions.

Roles and Responsibility

Architect, lead, and implement fully automated ZeroTouch deployment pipelines for GPU cloud infrastructure spanning hardware, OS, and Kubernetes platform layers.
Build GitOps-based workflows to manage the end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle from provisioning to continuous compliance.
Design and maintain automation for bare-metal control, firmware and configuration flashing, hardware inventory management, and configuration drift detection and remediation.
Develop and extend internal automation frameworks using Ansible, Python, and related tools.
Collaborate closely with hardware, SRE, and platform engineering teams as a technical authority and mentor.
Lead architectural and design reviews for infrastructure automation systems.

Job Requirements

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, automation, and systems design.
Core expertise in Ansible, Python, ipmitool, firmware scripting, and Linux shell scripting.
Deep knowledge of Ansible automation and configuration management, Python scripting, integration, and automation logic.
Proven experience in bare-metal automation for data center environments, including power control and PXE booting.
Strong foundation in Linux systems, networking, and Kubernetes infrastructure.
Proficiency in GitOps workflows and related tools.
Experience with CI/CD systems and Git-based pipelines for infrastructure.
Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and drift detection.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially across hardware, platform, and SRE teams.
Prior leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.
Contributions to or maintenance of open-source infrastructure projects are a plus.
Exposure to GPU-based compute stacks and high-performance workloads is a plus.
