An HVAC technician's work is directly tied to the building's operational efficiency and occupant well-being.
Preventive Maintenance: They perform routine checks and maintenance on chillers, AHUs, and other units to prevent costly breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. This is a core FM function.
Reactive Repairs: They respond to service calls when a system fails, such as a heating system not working in winter or an AC unit breaking down in a server room.
Energy Management: By ensuring systems are running optimally, they help the facility manager meet energy-saving goals, which directly impacts the company's bottom line and sustainability initiatives.
Qualification - ITI, Diploma, B.tech
