Job Summary:

The Site Engineer will oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge, effective team coordination, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to resolve on-site challenges.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure construction work aligns with design specifications, technical drawings, and quality standards.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to maintain quality and durability.

Technical Support:

• Interpret and execute technical drawings and plans.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to on-site issues.
• Perform layout work for construction activities.

Team Coordination:

• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and laborers on-site.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct on-site training and toolbox talks for safety compliance.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct safety audits and maintain documentation.

Cost and Resource Management:

• Monitor and control site expenses to stay within the allocated budget.
• Manage material procurement and inventory on-site.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience (25 years) in site supervision and project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Certification in safety standards (preferred).
