Job Title: HVAC Site Engineer - Off Role Location: Chennai Job Summary: As an HVAC Site Engineer at Blue Star, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems across various project sites. You will ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, technicians, and clients to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable HVAC solutions. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems at project sites. Review project designs and drawings, ensuring accurate and efficient installation. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning. Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports to project managers. Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and client specifications. Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to the development of project timelines. Provide technical support and training to junior technicians as needed. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in HVAC site engineering or a similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including VRF, chillers, AHUs, and ductwork. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and HVAC design software. Willingness to travel to various project sites.
