Job Summary

HVAC Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Attend

  breakdown calls

  and perform fault diagnosis and repairs for all types of air-conditioning systems (VRF/VRV, cassette, ductable, split, package, etc.).
• Conduct

  preventive and corrective maintenance

  at client sites.
• Perform

  gas charging, vacuuming, pressure testing, leak testing, and control wiring checks.

• Maintain service logs and prepare

  daily work reports

  for completed jobs.
• Support

  commissioning engineers

  during new project installations and system handovers.
• Coordinate with the

  service manager and stores team

  for spare parts requirements.
• Ensure proper usage of tools, safety gear, and follow

  OHSE and company safety protocols.

• Handle

  client communication and feedback

  professionally during service visits.
• Manage

  independent site calls

  and travel to customer locations as per schedule.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of

  VRF/VRV systems

  , indoor/outdoor units, and refrigerant circuits.
• Skilled in

  mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

  of HVAC systems.
• Familiar with

  refrigeration cycle, compressors, PCB and control boards, and sensors.

• Ability to read

  basic wiring diagrams and piping layouts.

• Knowledge of

  gas charging, brazing, vacuuming, and electrical connections.

• Experience with

  brands like LG, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Daikin, etc.

  preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma

  in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning / Mechanical / Electrical.
• Must possess a

  valid Driving Licence (two wheeler)

  mandatory for field service.
• Basic communication skills in English / Hindi / regional language.
• Willingness to travel across sites and work in the field environment.
  

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in

  VRF system servicing and maintenance

  .
• Customer-oriented approach with strong discipline and teamwork.
• Punctual, reliable, and able to handle emergency service calls.
• Candidates with their

  own two-wheeler

  preferred.
