Role & responsibilities : Working with a leading MNC to Carry out the installations, commissioning and attending the service calls and technical support. Should have knowledge about Electrical & Pneumatic drawings & specifications, VFD Programming, Sensors, Card system replacement, Instrumentation selections, Estimation, Application development, FAT, Installation & commissioning, Preparation of Internal test Reports, Circuit diagrams & drawings & commissioning reports, remote support to the machines. Coordinate installations with Head office and field maintenance, support, Preparing service & AMC quotations with appropriate terms & conditions & submit it to customers. Marketing of AMC for the machine and achieving the targets. Responsible for collection of service payments from customers Completing the service documentation, manuals and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and requirements. Carry out, inspect installations and observe operations, follow up ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Supervise and train customers operation team members as necessary. Investigate and test vendors and competitors' products. Overseas Installation/Service support Coordination and visit if required. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Investigate customer complaints, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend remedial measures. Assist in developing capital new equipment and major repairs. Develop spare parts and service budgets, estimating costs and forecast. As instructed by reporting manager and management. Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Ability to handle mechanical aspects as well, demonstrating double competency. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS, ASRS systems, automated conveyor systems, and AMC/O&M services. Key Responsibilities: Oversee Annual Maintenance Contract services, including monthly, quarterly, biannual, annual, on-call, and on-site support. Conduct AMC services alongside the Bastian Service Technician at customer locations. Lead a team of 7-8 technicians, ensuring safe operation, fault troubleshooting, and maintenance of ASRS systems in compliance with OEM standards. Develop and manage the annual AMC service schedule, planning for on-site customer locations. Handle AMC reporting and coordinate with customers, the Bastian Reporting Manager, and the Bastian Spare Parts Division for spare parts requirements, ensuring smooth and trouble-free operation of Bastian systems. Provide stop-gap coverage for O&M controls engineers on leave for more than 6 days across PAN India O&M locations until the original resource returns. Troubleshoot and maintain knowledge of PLCs, Drives, HMIs, and software, including Siemens TIA Portal. Oversee site O&M activities, coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and suppliers to resolve major issues and breakdowns. Prepare various AMC reports, including RCA, Why/Why analyses, and SOPs. Manage travel arrangements for AMC services and liaise with BK accounts for associated costs. Enter timesheets for self and AMC staff. Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining automation systems. Ensuring to follow Loss Prevention procedures & policies. Periodical Cash Auditing of Cashiers and other cash collections. Conduct Loss Prevention Audits on Cash, Planogram, FIFO, Cleanliness and other items. Maintain a record of these audits. Reviewing the loss prevention report and cash discrepancies. Conducting audits on Void Bills via CCTV. Verifying the usage and maintenance of CCTVs. Ensuring updated records and monthly checklist. Adhering to the Annual Maintenance, scheduling CCTV check-ups.
