HVAC Engineer

As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Preparation of specifications for HVAC systems - Preparation of requisitions for equipment - Evaluation of vendor offers - Preparation of technical bid comparisons - Reviewing vendor documents based on specifications - Coordinating with internal interfaces for deliverables - Engaging with clients, vendors, internal disciplines, procurement, and project management teams - Participating in review meetings and monitoring progress, schedules, and man-hours Your technical competencies will include: - Heat load calculation - Equipment selection - Electrical load estimation - Civil load estimation - HVAC room sizing - Utility estimation - Duct design In addition to your technical skills, soft skills are crucial for this role. You should be able to work in a self-supporting and self-motivating manner. Good written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, as well as being an effective team member.
