Hvac Engineer

Role & responsibilities

HVAC Engineer:

• Studying technical specification,DBR,BOQ

• Ensure to get TDS / Drgs / NT item approval on time .

• Ensure raising SAP PR on time along with LIVE data of the project.

• Manufacturing clearance on time.

• Ensure order Amendment on time.

• Through design and Value Engineering ideas

• Ensure Value Engineering tracker to be maintained and signed off by DH

• Follow up with client for order amendment.

• Ensure PR/PC correction to be done as per amendment to have automated CVR

in SAP.

• Design validation for all projects across services

• Must be thorough with the design verification which includes heat load

estimation, pressure drop calculation for air side and water side, also preparation

of water side scheme as well as electrical scheme

• Have a good knowledge of various equipments used in the projects and selection

of the equipments like chiller, pumps, AHU, cooling tower, heat recovery units,

fans, ductless ventilation system, etc

• Study of tender specification and ensure project is carried out as per the same.

• Apply value engineering to reducing cost of the project

• Preparation of final Bills of Quantity (BOQ) and variation statement 

Deep knowledge to have on

Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Fire fighting,PHE, Chiller, Pump,

Air Handling Units, Cooling Tower, Valves & Accessories, Sheet Metal Ducting, Piping,

Insulation Material, Air Washer Unit, Heat Load Calculation, HVAC Controls, Heat

Transfer, Heat Exchangers, VAV Unit, TFA Unit, FCU, Air Distribution Product,

Basement Ventilation, Smoke Exhaust System, Lift Well Pressurization, Staircase

Pressurization, Toilet Exhaust System, Pressure/Temperature Transmitter, Sensors,

AutoCAD Mechanical, Multiplex Design, Air Compressors, Axial & Centrifugal Fan,

MEP, HVAC Electrical,HAP and so on.

Key Skills & Tools:

• Proficiency in Excel/powerpoint/Autocad

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design for commercial, industrial, and

residential facilities.

• Excellent understanding of codes and standards applicable to HVAC design.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills. 

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech/Diploma in mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

• Experience (3-12 years)

• Prior experience in large-scale projects such as IT parks, malls, and industrial

facilities is highly desirable.
