Job Description

Role Overview

The HR Executive will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process and supporting core HR operations at the plant. The role demands a hands-on professional who can effectively manage recruitment pipelines, ensure smooth onboarding and employee experience, and support various HR initiatives including MIS, dashboards, and process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

A. Talent Acquisition (Approx. 70%)

  • Manage the complete recruitment life cycle for plant positions from manpower requisition, job posting, sourcing, screening, coordination, to final selection and offer rollout.
  • Collaborate with department heads and corporate TA team to understand manpower needs and forecast hiring requirements.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels: job portals, professional networks, consultants, referrals, and campus tie-ups.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate final rounds with department heads and HR leadership.
  • Ensure timely closures of open positions with quality hires aligned to defined timelines.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, monthly hiring dashboards, and metrics such as TAT, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
  • Coordinate pre-joining formalities and background verification through internal and external partners.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition CoE initiatives and ensure recruitment processes are consistent across both sites.

B. HR Operations & Onboarding (Approx. 20%)

  • Conduct end-to-end onboarding activities for new joiners, including documentation, induction scheduling, ID card creation, and system access coordination.
  • Ensure all joining forms, statutory documents, and training requirements are completed within defined timelines.
  • Maintain and update employee master data in HRMS/PeopleStrong platform and ensure data accuracy.
  • Support payroll inputs related to new joiners, exits, and status changes.
  • Handle employee queries related to attendance, leave, benefits, or HR policies with prompt resolution.
  • Assist in employee engagement activities, training coordination, and communication drives at site level.

C. MIS, Dashboards & Special Projects (Approx. 10%)

  • Prepare weekly and monthly HR dashboards, recruitment MIS, and attrition analysis for review by management.
  • Participate in HR process improvement initiatives, audits, and HR digitization projects.
  • Support HR leadership in special assignments such as productivity studies, headcount rationalization, and HR analytics.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams for ad-hoc HR data requirements and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Human Resources Management or Business Administration (MBA / PGDM preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing setup (pharma experience desirable).
  • Strong understanding of recruitment tools, HRMS platforms (PeopleStrong, SAP, or similar), and Excel-based reporting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capability and attention to detail.
