Human Machine Interface (HMI)

As a Team Member reporting to the Group Lead, you will utilize various UI/UX tools to analyze human factors and conduct HMI usability analysis. Your role will involve using Design Thinking tools to analyze HMI aspects, calculating driver mental and cognitive workload, and providing solutions to enhance in-vehicle user experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for strategizing customer clinics to understand user requirements thoroughly and making recommendations for improvement. Competitor HMI benchmarking and analysis will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze usability aspects in Infotainment/Meter Cluster/HUD screens during new model development - Demonstrate a good understanding of switches, both soft and hard, with prioritization and their respective placements in the car - Assess mental and cognitive workload scientifically while performing various tasks in a vehicle environment - Possess knowledge in Eye Tracking (Visual Science and EEG experience desirable) - Utilize EMG to study muscle stress during physical tasks in a vehicle - Work with Human Modeling software such as RAMSIS, Jack, etc. - Understand occupant packaging standards and guidelines - Network and collaborate with academia to implement innovative solutions in HMI - Have good driving experience Qualifications Required: - Experience in using UI/UX tools for HMI analysis - Knowledge of Design Thinking for HMI improvement - Familiarity with driver mental and cognitive workload calculation - Understanding of Eye Tracking and EEG experience - Proficiency in EMG for muscle stress analysis - Experience with Human Modeling software like RAMSIS, Jack, etc. - Knowledge of occupant packaging standards and guidelines - Ability to network and collaborate with academia for innovative HMI solutions In addition to the above requirements, you should have a strong background in analyzing user experience and a keen interest in enhancing in-vehicle technology for optimal usability.,
