Hub Manager

Hub Incharge Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day hub operations to ensure smooth first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile processes.
  
• Ensure timely arrival, sorting, dispatch, and delivery of shipments.
  
• Maintain compliance with operational SOPs.
  

2. Team Handling

• Manage Delivery Associates, Executives, Loaders, and other hub staff.
  
• Plan shift schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance.
  
• Conduct daily briefings and resolve team issues.
  

3. Inventory & Shipment Control

• Ensure accurate scanning, sorting, and tagging of parcels.
  
• Monitor ageing shipments, return shipments (RTO), and pending deliveries.
  
• Maintain hub stock accuracy and reconcile shortages/excess.
  

4. Customer & Client Coordination

• Handle escalations related to delayed, missing, or damaged shipments.
  
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and central teams for operational requirements.
  

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, security protocols, and audit guidelines.
  
• Maintain cleanliness, safety measures, and proper storage conditions at the hub.
  

6. Manpower Planning

• Forecast manpower needs based on shipment load.
  
• Coordinate with HR for hiring and training requirements.
  

7. MIS Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly operational reports (DA productivity, delivery % , RTO %, ageing).
  
• Share timely updates with regional and central teams.
  

8. Process Improvement

• Identify gaps in processes and implement corrective actions.
  
• Improve delivery TAT, customer satisfaction, and reduce operational losses.
  

9. Cost Control

• Optimize resource utilization (manpower, vehicle usage).
  
• Monitor and control hub expenses to stay within budget.
  

10. Compliance Handling

• Ensure all operations follow company policies, statutory compliance, and audit norms.
