Job Responsibilities of a Hub Manager

1. Manage Day-to-Day Hub Operations

• Oversee inbound and outbound movement of shipments.
  
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
  

2. Team Leadership & Management

• Supervise hub executives, delivery associates, and support staff.
  
• Conduct daily briefings and assign tasks.
  
• Monitor attendance and productivity.
  

3. Performance Monitoring

• Track key metrics such as TAT (Turnaround Time), delivery performance, and operational accuracy.
  
• Ensure achievement of daily and monthly operational targets.
  

4. Inventory & Shipment Management

• Ensure accurate scanning, sorting, and bagging of parcels.
  
• Maintain proper inventory records to avoid losses or misroutes.
  

5. Customer Issue Resolution

• Coordinate to resolve escalations related to delayed or misplaced shipments.
  
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  

6. Compliance & Process Adherence

• Ensure all SOPs are followed during operations.
  
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and security standards at the hub.
  

7. Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams

• Work closely with operations, logistics, and support teams.
  
• Share daily reports and updates with regional managers.
  

8. Resource & Cost Management

• Optimize manpower and resources to control operational costs.
  
• Manage vendor relationships when required.
  

9. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making

• Handle last-minute operational issues.
  
• Make quick decisions to ensure smooth workflow.
