HSE Officer / HSE Engineer

Project: Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant
Location: Project Site - PAN INDIA
Reporting To: Project Manager / HSE Manager

Job Purpose

To implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices at the project site, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and company HSE policies during ground-mounted solar installation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the Project HSE Plan and ensure site compliance
• Conduct daily safety inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions
• Ensure safe work practices for piling, structure erection, module installation, cabling, excavation, lifting, and electrical works
• Enforce PPE usage and site safety rules
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments, JSA, and Method Statements
• Report and investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Maintain HSE records, permits, checklists, and reports
• Monitor environmental controls such as waste management and housekeeping
• Support audits, inspections, and emergency drills

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field
• NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS certification preferred
• 1–3 years HSE experience in solar, construction, or power projects
• Knowledge of construction and electrical safety regulations
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently at site
