Description

We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

Developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
Conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Providing training and guidance to employees on HSE practices and emergency response procedures.
Monitoring and reporting on HSE performance metrics and preparing reports for management review.
Investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborating with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness within the organization.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements in India.
Proficient in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management.
Ability to lead and motivate teams in promoting a safe working environment.
Experience with HSE management systems and software tools.
