We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist In this role, you will: The SRE/DevOps engineer will be responsible for developing infrastructure capabilities within the HSBC Open Banking Cloud solutions. This will involve creating automated functionalities that are resilient and self-service in nature. The candidate should be well-versed in AWS Cloud and have experience in creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Create and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure Configure security controls for the Open banking AWS platform Use terraform to create infrastructure as a code (IaaC) for optimal re-use Create or update the necessary CI/CD infrastructure to allow the IaaC to be delivered to various markets Work with the SRE leads IT system analyst to understand the requirements and translate the requirements in to various capabilities that will allow reduction of toil and automation of routine task. Design and build monitoring framework Work on rota basis as on call engineer during shifts. Respond to production incident call outs and work with the IT ops manager to recover the normal service operation Support and mentor junior members of the team Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Minimum Bachelor Degree of Engineering with Excellent verbal and written communication skills 4 to 7 years of experience in AWS cloud Minimum 3+ years of experience in below skills : AWS Devops skills (Route 53, VPC, S3, IAM, EC2, ELB, RDS, EKS, Lambda, API gateway, AWS Session Manager) Should have experience with Jenkins Automation, Terraforming AWS environment stack build, Linux, Nginx, Squid administration, Python or Node and Shell Scripting. ALM tooling Jira, GitHub, Confluence. Strong understanding of security concepts Strong networks skills with understanding of Subnets, Firewall, IP ranges, CIDR blocks, routes designing, NACLs, application clustering, load balancing, high availability concepts. Understanding of IAAS, PAAS, FAAS concepts, server and application configuration concepts and technologies. Logging Monitoring tools like Splunk, App Dynamics, CouldWatch The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: Good to have Banking Domain Knowledge.
