As a People Operations Associate at Stripe, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the People & Places teams and partners to ensure the smooth processing of transactions, prompt response to inquiries, meticulous audits, and continuous enhancement of the services provided. Your responsibilities will revolve around maintaining the accuracy and integrity of People data by conducting audits, entering data throughout the employee lifecycle, and supporting the HRIS in managing job profiles, job families, and comp codes. Additionally, you will collaborate with the People team to efficiently process changes in Workday for new hires, manager transitions, cost center modifications, team reassignments, or location changes with a keen focus on precision. Your role will also involve assisting all Stripes by promptly addressing employment verification requests and other people-related data inquiries. You will be responsible for creating and organizing employee files, monitoring annual trainings, verifying candidate documentation, and overseeing background checks. An essential aspect of your position will be proactively identifying opportunities for process enhancements and automation to facilitate the scalability of the People Ops team. We are seeking an individual who meets the minimum requirements outlined for this role, with the preferred qualifications viewed as advantageous but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should possess 1-3 years of operations experience in handling a high volume of transactions, preferably in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment. Proficiency in processing Workday transactions, along with exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and problem-solving acumen are essential. Moreover, a demonstrated ability to execute processes effectively, coupled with a flexible approach to problem-solving, is highly valued. The role also demands discretion and sound judgment in managing confidential and sensitive data, as well as a curiosity for technological advancements in HR products and services. While not compulsory, preferred qualifications include holding a PHR or SPHR certification, familiarity with Salesforce as a case/knowledge management system, experience with tools such as Greenhouse and Google Suite, expertise in global mobility, immigration, or global benefit procedures, and the ability to adapt priorities based on varying ticket volumes while maintaining progress on multiple tasks concurrently. As part of the job expectations, office-assigned Stripes across different locations are required to spend a significant portion of their time in the local office or with users. The exact in-office percentage may vary depending on the role, team, and location. For instance, individuals based in Bucharest, Romania, are expected to be in the office 80% of the time, while those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, and Bengaluru, India, work entirely from the office. Certain teams might have heightened in-office attendance requirements to adequately support users and workflows, which will be discussed by the hiring manager. This approach aims to strike a balance between fostering in-person collaboration and flexibility, allowing individuals to learn from one another while accommodating different work arrangements.,
