Job Description

Job Description: Human Resources (HR)

Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
Team Size: ~50 to 70 Employees
Industry: Hospitality, and Ticketing
Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead our human resources operations for a growing enterprise operating across the aviation, hospitality, and ticketing sectors. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle of approximately 100 staff members. Because our business touches high-touch customer service, safety-sensitive aviation environments, and fast-paced ticketing operations, you will design and implement robust HR strategies that ensure regulatory compliance, high employee engagement, and seamless talent management.
Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Targeted Recruitment: Partner with department heads (Aviation/Ground Operations, Hospitality/Guest Services, and Ticketing Sales) to source, interview, and hire top-tier talent.
  • Compliance Screening: Ensure all aviation and hospitality staff meet necessary background checks, licensing, safety clearances, and customer service qualifications.
  • Onboarding Experience: Deliver an engaging onboarding program that introduces new hires to company culture, safety standards, and service excellence protocols.

2. Employee Relations & Culture

  • Workforce Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee coaching, conflict resolution, and grievance handling for our 100-person team.
  • Culture Building: Foster a high-morale, inclusive culture that bridges the distinct operational needs of hospitality, ticketing, and aviation staff.
  • Retention Strategies: Implement recognition programs, employee feedback channels, and wellness initiatives to reduce turnover in fast-paced operational environments.

3. Compliance, Safety & Labor Regulations

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all HR policies comply with local labor laws, industry-specific aviation safety guidelines, and hospitality regulations.
  • Policy Management: Maintain and update the employee handbook, outlining codes of conduct, shift protocols, uniform standards, and safety procedures.

4. Performance & Talent Management

  • Performance Reviews: Oversee annual and quarterly performance appraisal processes, linking key performance indicators (KPIs) to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate specialized training programs (e.g., customer service excellence for hospitality, ticketing software training, and aviation safety protocols).

5. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations

  • Payroll Coordination: Partner with finance to ensure accurate, timely monthly payroll processing, handling leave tracking, shift allowances, and overtime.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee health insurance, wellness perks, and sector-specific allowances (e.g., travel or shift benefits).
  • HR Data & Metrics: Maintain accurate personnel records and track core HR metrics such as turnover rate, absenteeism, and time-to-hire.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. (HR certifications like SHRM-CP, CIPD, or equivalent are a strong plus).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or generalist capacity.
  • Prior industry exposure working within aviation, hospitality, tourism, or ticketing is highly preferred due to the unique operational and shift-scheduling dynamics.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of shift-based rostering, hospitality service standards, and aviation compliance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software.
  • High emotional intelligence and discretion when handling confidential matters.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package with performance bonuses.
  • Health and wellness benefits.
  • Industry-specific travel and hospitality perks.
  • Dynamic, growth-oriented work environment with cross-sector exposure.
