About the Role

HR Generalist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition

6+ years of experience in IT hiring

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (70%)

  • Own the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for IT and business roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, define job descriptions, and create effective sourcing strategies.
  • Build and manage a strong candidate pipeline using job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of interviews, assessments, and feedback loops.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the IT sector.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance, etc.).

HR Generalist Functions (30%)

  • Support onboarding and induction processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Administer HR policies, maintain compliance with labor laws, and manage employee records.
  • Assist in performance management cycles, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Provide HR support in areas such as leave management, payroll coordination, and grievance handling.
  • Partner with leadership on culture-building and people initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in core IT hiring

    (software engineers, developers, QA, DevOps, product roles, etc.).
  • Proven track record in successfully closing mid to senior-level roles within the IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and HR systems.
  • Understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and scaling environment.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth IT services/product company.
  • Exposure to global hiring (US, Australia, Europe) in addition to Indian IT talent markets.
  • Certification in HR/Recruitment or related areas.
